This cake curl cream is the most awesome thing I have ever made. It tastes exactly as pictured and looks even better. It is decadent, it is delicious, and it will make you feel like a king.
For those of you following our other blog posts, you know that cake curls can be a very difficult thing to do with the right technique. For some reason, I’ve never figured out how to do it right. I guess I’ve always just wanted to do it, but I’ve never had the patience to do it right. With the cake curl cream, I got the technique right (and it’s not as hard as I thought it might be), but I didn’t do a perfect curl.
I’m not going to lie to you and say that I’m not a perfectionist. In fact, I was once the same way. But it’s not like I’m a bad person. I’ve learned my lesson and I’m more than okay with not having perfect curls.
Forcing yourself to curl like a girl is definitely something I learned from my aunt. She always forced me to curl like a girl when I was a kid, and I really miss it. But I guess that means I am not a good girl, because I always have to curl like a girl.
The fact is that the majority of my life is on autopilot, I know its a good thing. Because that is the way things are. Im not a perfectionist. When I see an image of myself in a photo, it isnt the same as seeing it in real life. If you want to see yourself in a different way, it probably doesn’t matter what your face is.
But I do believe that we are all on autopilot. This is why we always feel that we have to go to the gym daily to stay in shape. I know its a good thing. You have to be on autopilot to not have any goals, to not know what you want, to not have any boundaries. But I think that we are in danger of losing some of the self-awareness that we need to continue to be able to go to the gym and still look sexy.
I think this is why we need to think more about how we view our bodies. We tend to think of our bodies as some sort of self-actualized machine. We have the perfect body, we are not hungry, we are not stressed, and we have the perfect diet. But if you look at our minds and our hearts, it seems we are not even on autopilot.
We are actually very good at being self-aware. I think this is one of the things that separates people from mindless drones. Being on autopilot is boring. And we are in danger of losing this self-awareness if we don’t take this into account. If we don’t pay attention to our own bodies and what it is they control, we will make the same mistakes as we did when we were on autopilot.
If you are one of those people who is always on autopilot, you are missing out on one of the most important things we can do to be self-aware. We can learn to pay attention to what we do, where we are, and how we are feeling. Self-awareness is so important because it means that you can see when you are not self-aware. I think this is why the word “autopilot” has become so derogatory.
You can’t control your mind if you don’t pay attention to your mind. The difference being that if you just don’t check in with your mind you might as well be eating a cheeseburger all day. I don’t think this is a good analogy, but I couldn’t disagree more.
